Sensual and Erotic Art Show
February 16 - 23, 2019  1319 Bull St. (upstairs) Savannah, GA
Picture
          This is Tatiana von Tauber’s fourth Savannah art show highlighting the sensual and erotic world of women and couples. PLAYERS IN PLEASANTVILLE evolved from the curiosities and realities of relationships, their variations and serial sexual progressions. In 2015, von Tauber focused on the totality of “usual vanilla porn” with her controversial ART PORN show. In 2017, with “BACK IT UP”, Tatiana presented a patriarchal view - a common standard if you will - that brought to vision the front and back, the apparatus and the entrance(s).  Through years  of study and painting and seeking to understand eroticism from various angles, at some point it was inevitable that The Player might pop up and make appearance.  The Player offers the fantasy as a reality and will make the impossible feel and appear like a lucky strike.  Don’t light up. What makes players hold the classic label is that they are temporary, a limited time offer. The fantasies settle back into reality when authenticity doesn’t hold its stamina and Time discloses just how much stamina a player has. This exhibition is an exploration of who such players might be and how they might play with erotic fantasies projected within the world they call  Pleasantville.

Fun Sex Facts to Know!
1.  Men are subconsciously more attracted to women during their ovulation. In fact, exotic dancers actually earn more money during this week in the month than any other!

2.  Women love sex more than you think! One survey found 53 percent of women were not having enough sex and almost 75 percent of women within the survey desire to make love at least three times a week.

3.  Vaginal exposure to semen elevates women's mood. True.  Google it!  It’s not “safe sex”; yet,when monogamy is present, the ladies have natural anti-depressant!  Before prescription pills, might want to try this alternative first.

4.  Multiple studies show that using lube increases your chance of having an orgasm, especially for women.  Sounds like a trip to the local novelty store to us!

5.  Need to lose weight?  Sex burns an average of 100 calories a session.  Get to it!

6.  There are an estimated 100 million sex acts going on daily.  That’s a lot of, um, sperm.

7.  The word “fetish” comes from the Portuguese feitico, meaning “charm” or “sorcery”.

8. Nether region shaving could make you more susceptible to catching diseases.   Frequent shaving causes tiny tears in the skin, thus making it easier for bacteria to get in the skin.  In fact, says a local gynecologist,
"Most women didn't shave down there until porn became mainstream".
WHAT IS 'SEXY' TO YOU?
We asked our audience that question, and here’s a few great responses we got!
* “Being confident in yourself & whatever makes YOU feel sexy!”
* "Aside from being a good person... strap-ons and anything kinky!”

* “Being comfortable with yourself and body.”
* "Heels - the higher the better!”
* "Breaking the binary is sexy.”

* “A fit and healthy body."
* “Female feet.”
* “Creativity.”

Speaking of Studies, Get a Load of these Statistics!

Pardon our pun. We're headed into porn...

While pornography may be a moral issue for some, at the beginning of the day and at the end of the day, pornography is a business and it's flourishing. While facts are tough to get, the going estimated value for U.S. porn consumption is between $5 to $15 billion* with global value being netted at $97 billion.  Interestingly, for comparison, according to a Netflix documentary, "Take Your Pills", the ADHD pharmaceutical business alone is to hit a whopping $17.5 billion dollars annually by 2020.  Pill or porn?  That is the question!

Further on the interest scale, according to the 2018 Year in Review for Pornhub.com, the states whose residents stayed the longest online for porn - "more than 11 minutes per visit - are located in the politically conservative deep South: Mississippi, Alabama, S. Carolina, Louisiana & Arkansas". Folks, Georgia is free and clear of such labels. Rejoice!

To top off the inquisitive mind, men's favorite search category in 2018 was "Japanese" while women's was "lesbian."  Hmm.  Pornhub tallied 25 billion searches - 800 per second! - last year to give us that information. (source)  For the full stats on what everyone else is searching for in the virtual fantasy department, here's the official review from Pornhub itself, (SFW).

Classic Sex Jokes Because Laughter is Good

*     Today a fortune cookie told me that every exit is an entrance. Long story short, my girlfriend said no.

*     What do you have when you have two balls in your hand? A man's undivided attention!

*     Mom: If a boy touches your boobs say "don't" and if he touches your pussy say "stop"? Girl: But mom, he touched both so I said "don't stop".

*     Do you know what 6.9 is? A good thing screwed up by a period.

*     What's long and hard and has cum in it? A cucumber.

*     The sex was so good that even the neighbors had a cigarette.

*     3 people having sex is a threesome, 2 is a twosome. So next time someone calls you 'HANDSOME', don't take it as a compliment!

*     Children in the dark make accidents, but accidents in the dark make children. (use birth control to prevent accidents)

*     I wonder what my parents did to fight boredom before the Internet. I asked my 17 brothers and sisters and they didn't know either.  (this is why we use birth control)

*     A girl phoned me the other day and said, "Come on over, there's nobody home." I went over. Nobody was home.

*     Life is sexually transmitted.

*     The biggest difference between men and women is what comes to mind when the word 'Facial' is used.

:)   (we hope those made you laugh)
